This Privacy Policy explains how Hydro: Gulp ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Hydro: Gulp mobile application ("App").

We collect the following information to provide the App:

• Account data: Google account name, email address, and unique user ID.
• Profile settings: hydration goal, preferred unit, wake/sleep times, and avatar color.
• Hydration records: drink amount, drink type, timestamp, and date-based history.
• Reminder settings: reminder times, labels, and reminder preferences.
• Subscription data: premium status, selected plan, and expiration date.
• Technical data: basic app diagnostics and crash/error information from platform providers.

2. How We Use Information

• Authenticate your account and keep you signed in.
• Store and sync your hydration, profile, and reminder data across sessions.
• Enable core and premium app features.
• Send local push reminders configured by you.
• Maintain app security, reliability, and performance.

3. Legal Basis (Where Applicable)

Depending on your location, we process personal data under one or more of the following bases: your consent, performance of a contract (providing the App), and legitimate interests (security and service improvement).

4. Data Storage and Security

We use Firebase services (such as Firebase Authentication and Firestore) to store and process your data. We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share limited information with service providers only as needed to operate the App:

• Google / Firebase (authentication, data hosting, app infrastructure).
• Google Play / Apple App Store (purchase and subscription processing, if applicable).

We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

If subscription purchases are offered, payments are processed by the relevant app store provider (for example, Google Play Billing or Apple In-App Purchases), not directly by us. We receive subscription status information necessary to manage premium access.

7. Data Retention

We retain data while your account is active or as needed to provide the App. If you delete your account, we delete associated user profile, hydration logs, and reminder data from our database, subject to limited legal or operational retention requirements.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Access, update, or delete your personal information.
• Withdraw consent for certain processing.
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities.

You can delete your account and all associated data by submitting a request at Delete Account. Alternatively, you can delete your account from within the App. For other privacy requests, contact us using the email below.

9. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we take appropriate steps to provide lawful safeguards for international transfers.

10. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or higher age threshold where required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable minimum age.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
